,The Dot’ features 27 black-and-white images from Oreo's eponymous portrait series of young adolescents in Amsterdam and St. Petersburg. Shot during improvised portrait sessions, the images are intimate, timeless yet unmistakably contemporary. For the book, Oreo added three short poetic lines of text.
Oreo Jung Min Cho was born and grew up in Seoul (KR). In recent years, she divided her time between Amsterdam, New York and Seoul.
The series THE DOT earned Oreo a degree in photography at Rietveld Academy. Among other shows, it was selected for the »Best of Graduates 2014« exhibition at Ron Mandos Gallery, Amsterdam.
