“Waters break rocks” series is an imaginative journey into the space where human form intertwines with untamed forces of nature constituting forever indissoluble and continuous unity. I pursue not only to explore the visual surface of the body or pictorial beauty of nature, but rather to create a metaphor of the sublime world that stands beyond their visible physicality and underlies life of every creature on Earth – inner dormant volcanoes, subterranean waters, energy of growth, resilience to outer forces and also a drive to inevitable death.
The zine is a selection of 19 images sequenced into a non-linear narrative. It doesn`t contain author`s comments or project description letting the viewer drift freely through the imagery stream and instigating them to their personal emotional response.
