Mit diesen Aufzeichnungen möchte Thomas Neumann die Stimmung im März 2011 für sich einfassen und die mediale Realität der Katastrophe in Japan festhalten. Für den Künstler, der selbst 2 Jahre in Japan lebte und noch kurz vor der Katastrophe Japan besuchte, war die Verarbeitung dieser Katastrophentage ein besonderes Anliegen.
Das Künstlerbuch zeigt zwei parallele Welten. Es sind die minutiösen Nachrichten aus den Newstickern im Internet, denen er seine Fotos aus dem deutschen Alltag dieser Tage im März gegenüberstellt. Thomas Neumann sieht darin sowohl ein persönliches Statement als auch ein dokumentarisches Archiv der Ereignisse.
