Avantgarde then - avantgarde now! Still I have to find a book, which in form, layout and text was and is so outstanding (if we forget about the cover...). Man Ray's photos flow in and out of the text so naturally, Paul Eluard's verses are arranged with perfect taste around the body of Nusch Eluard - just a few pages (12!) but every single of them of timeless beauty!
