Jamèl Van de Pas - Berlin Prague Budapest, The Unknown Books, 2017, Sintra

Softcover, edition of 100 copies.

'Berlin Prague Budapest' shows the 18-day-trip Dutch photographer Jamèl van de Pas went on during the summer of 2016. At age 18, he embarked on a journey visiting the three European capitals by train.
Carrying around a small mirrorless camera, he intuitively captured the streets he walked, faces he met and experiences he had.

Whether it were recognizable street scenes or obscure fragments of underground strip clubs, portraits showing expressions of strangers or snapshots displaying sexual encounters, Van de Pas gives us an insight into one specific perspective: his perspective.
