Hardcover, covered with silver-textured paper, 32 double-page back-to-back photomontages configured as an accordion fold-out, designed by Goro Kumada. With photographs by Yonosuke Natori, Ihei Kimura, Masao Horino, Yoshio Watanabe, Ken Domon and other members of the influential photojournalistic group "Nihon Kobo", which was headed by Natori Yonosuke.

"This book consists of a series of double-page plates on leaves mounted back to back to form a continous double-sided panorama of subjects relating to Japanese landscape, culture, economics, sports and the military. Each double-plate page comprises more or less elaborate photomontages, giving it a dynamic sense of drama. This publication was not for sale. It was probably given to government officials and embassies to promote Japan’s cause.
